What is Author Circle?

Writing a book is exciting!  Publishing, with all the many facets of editing, cover choice, more editing, communicating with marketing and promotion departments and finally seeing your book in print, can't be described in words.  It's somewhat like seeing the sunset over a quiet sea for the first time or holding your firstborn or learning to ride a bike without training wheels.  Those experiences can never be duplicated.  Once you're past the awe of your literary creation, reality sinks in with a lot of questions i.e.
How and where will I sell my books and to whom? 
Should I try book fairs or distributors?
Will royalties be substantial to warrant my investment?
