She is proud of her mother and, therefore, has decided to join the Air Force when she grows up. Ten pages in all, this is a quick read for children with colorful illustrations to hold attention. Review by Richard Barone, MWSA Reviewer (May 2010)
Susie learns about customs and courtesies of the military as she accompanies her mother on a journey of discovery. The author hopes to convey that women, while being mothers and wives, can also serve their country .
