Who are we?
Schooner Publications, Inc. was established more than a decade ago in Myrtle Beach, SC by owners who migrated from Ohio. The main emphasis originally was to publish and market literary works internally, however, the company now includes marketing, book fairs, book signings, networking and public appearances for authors, literary associates and arts/crafts. Why the name "Schooner"
Yet, not a boating publication? That's a long story. When the originators of the company moved from a small suburban Ohio town to Myrtle Beach, SC to enjoy the fruits of their labor by golfing and doing all the things seemingly appropriate for retirement, it soon became apparent that ceaseless golf, wonderful dining, beautiful weather, alabaster beaches and boundless entertainment wouldn't sustain their energies, so they chose to fulfill a latent desire to write and publish children's fiction.....all the while......still reveling in the majesty of the beach with its many colorful vessels and quiet solitude, hence the name "Schooner".
